The interlocking grid pieces fit together satisfyingly tight, and it made a noticeable difference taming the spill from my edge light. Setup took less than a minute, and the deeper cells really do cut down on flare in tight spaces.

Finally got it set up as a rim light for product shots, and the increased depth really does kill stray light hitting the lens. The interlocking grid feels solid and assembled perfectly out of the box.

The hand-assembled interlocking grid was surprisingly easy to snap together, and it made a huge difference taming spill on my hair light. Depth is just right for cutting flare without eating too much output, which I didn't expect from such a compact setup.
