Rapid Box Switch Lantern

I love how quickly this lantern sets up compared to other softboxes I’ve used, and the collapsible design makes it easy to pack into my kit. The omnidirectional light really fills a room without harsh shadows—perfect for product shots.

The 360-degree spread is exactly what I needed for moody portrait backgrounds—the light wraps around subjects without any harsh hotspots. Setup took barely a minute with the insert, and it's now a permanent part of my bag.

The 20-inch size collapses down so small it fits in my camera bag's side pocket, which is a huge win for on-location shoots. The 360-degree spread really does soften the light evenly across the whole room, and setting it up takes maybe a minute once you get the hang of the insert.
