Scrim Jim Cine 1/2-Stop Grid Cloth Fabric (6' x 6')

The reinforced crisscross stitching gives me confidence this will hold up on windy days, and the light it produces is beautifully even without any harsh spots. Used it for a quick outdoor portrait session and was impressed by the color accuracy right out of the bag.

I was worried about hotspots with a cheaper diffusion, but this cloth spreads the light beautifully even on a sunny day. It handled a light breeze without tearing, and the 6x6 size gives me plenty of coverage for outdoor portraits.

The crisscross reinforcement is the reason I keep reaching for this—it survived a gusty shoot without a single tear, and the light stayed even across the whole frame. No hotspots even with the sun right behind it, which is exactly what I needed for the outdoor setup.
