Diffusion Fabric for 43" Deep Umbrella

This fabric gives my deep umbrella the same silky light as a big octabox. It cuts exactly one stop, which makes calculating exposure simple. A solid upgrade for studio strobes.

I’d been using a regular white umbrella before, but this diffusion fabric gives a noticeably rounder, more controlled catchlight in the eyes. The fabric feels sturdy and blocks exactly one stop. My portraits now have that smooth, deep-softbox look without the bulk.

The diffusion on this is exactly one full stop as promised, which made dialing in my strobes quick and predictable. It turns my 43" umbrella into a genuinely octagonal softbox look, and the fabric feels sturdy enough for studio use without any sagging.
