The octagonal shape gives a really pleasing, natural catchlight in the eyes, and collapsing it down is genuinely effortless. The speedlight insert clicks in securely, and I love how quickly I can swap between a studio strobe and a speedlight without any fuss.

Switching from a softbox to a beauty dish insert took about ten seconds flat, which is kind of amazing during a shoot. The whole thing pops open and collapses just as fast, and the light quality from the octagonal shape is really smooth and even.
