Halo Softbox (45")

Finally set up the 45" softbox for a headshot session, and the 180-degree spread really softened the shadows perfectly. It collapses nearly flat, which is huge for my cramped studio storage. Good value for the price.

I was skeptical about the 180-degree light spread claim, but it really does fill the subject evenly without harsh shadows. The whole setup is surprisingly quick to collapse into a compact umbrella shape for transport.

The collapsing mechanism is genius—it literally folds down to umbrella size so I can toss it in my carry-on. Setup takes maybe 30 seconds, and the 180-degree spread eliminates harsh shadows in my portraits instantly.
