Apollo Orb Speedlight Octabox Kit (43")

I’ve been using this octabox as my main key light for headshots, and the universal speedlight mount made setup a breeze. The 43-inch size gives a beautifully soft falloff without hogging studio space. It’s light enough to pack in one hand for location shoots.

Folded it down to umbrella size and it fit right in my camera bag—took maybe two minutes to set up at the shoot. The octagonal shape gives a really even, natural catchlight in the eyes, and it feels solid even though it’s light.

The collapsible design is a lifesaver for my small studio—it packs down to umbrella size and fits in my gear bag without a fight. Setup takes a minute longer than I’d like, but the octagonal shape gives a lovely catchlight that my old rectangular softbox never could.
